Easy Sweet Tea Vodka Lemonades
What happens when you mix sweet tea vodka and lemonade on a hot September Saturday?
You’ve got the perfect drink for a southern college football tailgate!
And sweet tea vodka this cocktail couldn’t be any easier if we tried. No really, we even used premixed lemonade.
Pour some of this from bottle one and a little of that from bottle two and bam! you’ve got yourself the perfect tailgating drink. It is so versatile you can drink it all the way from breakfast to your midnight snack. (Trust us, we’ve done it.)
We won’t call it the John Daly because John Daly gets upset when you call it that.
But it is still the perfect name, since the traditional sweet tea and lemonade drink is called the Arnold Palmer and this is the alcoholic version. I know, I know, John Daly has cleaned up his act lately, but when has that ever stopped us from telling a good story?
Now you’ll notice we added a little “Kick It Up A Notch” section in the recipe.
We first saw a frozen sweet tea vodka and lemonade on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. You know they are just full of “good” ideas.
A fellow tailgater met us at the RV with the great news. I think she might still be drunk; of course, it may have had something to do with the bucket and roadie that they gave us.
In any case, a frozen sweet tea vodka and lemonade is perfect for the 90+ degree weather we are suffering through right now. No reason to wait until football season.

Sweet Tea Vodka & Lemonade Variations to Try
You can also try some variations of the drink by using raspberry or peach tea vodka and lemonade.
Don’t forget to try the frozen version of each!
Just be careful, these drinks go down smooth and will hit you hard if you don’t pay attention! Don’t end up as #whitegirlwasted after a day of drinking.
Also, Firefly has Sweet Tea Whiskey if you are interested in that. It’ll do even more damage than the vodka version, but it doesn’t taste as smooth going down. You’ll feel the burn to remind you that you are drinking alcohol. Maybe not so #whitegirlwasted with that version?
You know, one of the benefits of writing food and drink posts is that we have to test them all out first. Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of drink and maybe dessert posts for awhile…
